Emdoneni Lodge

A few hours drive from Durban in the heart of Hluhluwe is the Emdoneni cat rehabilitation centre. Emdoneni prides itself in its cat breeding projects, releasing captive bred cats into the wild. Cheetah, Serval, African Wild Cat and Caracal can all be found at Emdoneni. The lodge is also host to an array of wildlife namely, Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala and Nyala. Qualified guides conduct tours twice a day, with a feeding show in the late afternoon.

Guests are taken around the enclosures and taught of Emdoneni's efforts at conserving Africa's cats. The highlight of the tour is going inside the Cheetah enclosure. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with these majestic cats. Having a picture taken with the worlds fastest land mammal is a guest favorite.

Accommodationn at Emdoneni is relaxed and luxurious. The chalets all have en suite bathrooms, single/twin or double beds, bathroom amenities and are serviced daily. The Honeymoon/Executive suite offers guests a private and intimate setting away from the chalets, but within 30 meters of the Cheetah enclosures. There is a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner within the Lodge.
