Mkuze/Hluhluwe Safari

Two amazing South African safari parks in three days. Mkuze Game Reserve and Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve are on the top of many local and international travelers lists. Your safari starts from Durban city.

Day one -Traveling along the Kwa-Zulu Natal coast we arrive at Mkuze Game Reserve, in the heart of Zululand. A picturesque reserve teaming with wildlife. Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Giraffe are residents of Mkuze. The park also boasts over 450 species of bird. Once settled in we will have lunch before embarking on a guided walk through the fig forest. Dinner will be at the camp restaurant. Mkuze's camp has a pool for guests to cool off and relax.

Day two - After breakfast we make our way towards Hilltop Camp in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. This pristine world renowned park is rich in wildlife. The 'Big5' are what Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Reserve are famed for. Surrounding us, hundreds of other mammal and bird life species can be found, including, Hyena, Cheetah, Hippo and the African Wild Dog. The rest of the day will be spent continuing our wildlife viewing activities. The late afternoon can be spent around the pool or stocking up at curio's at the camps shop. Dinner will be at Hilltop camps Mpunyane restaurant, with a hot and cold buffet of traditional African and international dishes.

Day three - A final buffet breakfast in Hilltop is followed by a game drive with your safari guide. We make our way out of Hluhluwe-Umfolozi  Game Reserve and onto St Lucia for a boat cruise along the River. Here you will be able to view, Crocodiles, Hippos and Fish Eagles. A perfect opportunity for photographers to capture the beauty of this World Heritage Site. We then make our return journey to Durban.
